French Press v/s Drip Coffee: What’s the Difference?

Coffee is not something you add basic ingredients to milk and it is ready. Coffee perfectionists would know that there are different methods involved in making the best one.

We also understand the importance of getting the right taste of your coffee. Since coffee has now become a part of an individual’s lifestyle, so we are here with a proper guide to help you to get to grips with the differences.

Which is the most convenient?

Well, the term convenient depends on your priorities.

If you looking out for an easy to use a coffee maker with lack of input from the brewer, automatic-drip machines are a perfect choice. You just need to press a button or maybe two and leave for some other work if you want to do, you’ll get a cup of coffee at the end of it.

If convenience means that it can be stored away, easy to clean and portable, then go for a French Press.

Of course, you have to pay extra attention to the process of coffee making but the profit is in the simplicity of the equipment.

You can easily take a French Press out for work or camping and can also be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. French Press Coffee Makers won’t take up much surface of your kitchen counter.

Hot Broth and Coffee is centrally located in Downtown Green Bay for a reason. We love this community, and we are eager to serve. We will do our best to make things quick, tasty, and nutritious so that people can do their best work. If we are not living up to that commitment, please let us know here. Thank you, we appreciate feedback.

We have already begun getting many inquiries about small evening events, board meetings, pre-Meyer Theater gatherings, etc. We are excited about these opportunities, you can email us at

At Hot Broth and Coffee, we offer soup for lunch. But we are doing something a little different, applying what we learned by operating an artisanal sandwich shop to making soups on the fly. I’m not sure how far we can push the analogy, but the broth is bread—essentially. Soups, chowders, curries, etc. At last count we have eight options daily, but before we are done we should have dozens. And that’s exciting (to us at the very least).

But we have several sandwiches too.
